Hard to get to and find accomodation in Vava'u at the moment!
Because of Vava'u's church- congress, the arrival of many tourists at the same time and reduced air- traffic there is some traffic jam and queuing at Royal Tongan's office downtown Nuku'alofa.
Does anybody know about the actual Situation in Ha'pai ?
And why not stay in Nuku'alofa for the Heilala- Festival and the 4th of July, which happens to be the birthday of H.M. King Taufa’ahau Tupou IV ? You get a copy of the programme at the visitor's bureau down at the waterfront (and at the airport).
And, there are lots of things to do & see in Tongatapu as well ... :)
